Welcome to my blog!


I'm not entirely sure what inspired me to blog. If I had to take a guess, it's probably the large amount of great blogs I've come across lately, most of which have to do with fitness, nutrition, or some combination of both. Another inspiration possibility is my mom. We've been texting back and forth with recipes we come across for a few weeks now and every time I send her a picture of something I make, she hassles me about doing something more useful than cooking for myself with my cooking interest. Regardless of what made me do it, I'm going to give you my best attempt at this blogging thing!

My goal with this is pretty broad. I want to bring you useful, interesting, and fun ideas to incorporate into your own expeditions in the kitchen as well as the gym. I might also give some technology talk every now and then – I’m a closet nerd. Occasionally I may get a little off topic, which is an admitted character flaw that I’ll apologize for in advance.

It might be boring now, but I will be spicing it up as time permits. Don't worry!

I’ll try and post every week, hopefully multiple times. If you have a dish you would like me to try and alter or come up with a recipe for, or you have something fitness related you’d like to ask/share, feel free to leave a suggestion in the comments. I will definitely read them!

My eyes are drooping as I write this inaugural post, so I’m going to leave you with this: don’t wait until tomorrow to chase your goals. Tell yourself you’re starting today and do it. You will always chase tomorrow, but you live in today.
